Trailside Center Museum

The Trailside Center Museum, a converted bank and vault, displays interpretive exhibits that focus on:

  • National Park Service: National Historic Santa Fe, Oregon and California Trails
  • Fitzhugh-Watts Mill: A pioneer stopping place in the 1800s
  • New Santa Fe: The last village before wagon trains crossed the border into uncharted territory in the 1800s
  • Battle of Westport: The largest Civil War battle west of the Mississippi
